Emergencies
If an emergency should arise after business hours, call our 24 hour answering service number (614) 851-7337(PEDS) and the answering service will notify the person on call, who will then contact you to make the appropriate arrangements. If an acute emergency exists, an emergency squad can be contacted by calling 911. After hour calls are for emergencies only. Please be considerate and do not call our physicians after hours and especially in the middle of the night to ask questions that are not urgent such as prescription refills, over the counter medication request and ongoing non medical concerns. Free after hours medical advice is for serious medical concerns that cannot wait until the next business day. All non urgent calls will result in a $35.00 fee billed to your account.

Credit Policy
To help control billing and mailing costs, we request that payment, including co-payments and deductible be received at the time of service. If we are not under contract with your insurance company, charges for medical service are due at the time of service. You may use cash, check, or credit card. If you need to arrange a payment plan, we will assist you.

Consent
For our protection and yours, a signed consent form must he on file if someone other than you brings your child to seek medical treatment. A consent form is valid for 1 year and is available in our office. Failure to have a signed consent form will result in rescheduling your visit.

Appointments
Appointments may be scheduled by calling our office (614) 851-7337(PEDS). We see patients Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, as well as Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Please keep in mind the importance of maintaining a routine schedule in your child's immunizations and physical examinations.

We understand that it is often difficult for working parents to bring their children to the office. We will he happy to work together to find an acceptable time during the day. We offer morning urgent care hours from 8:00 am to 9:00 am, including Sunday hours from 9:00 am to 10:00 am (no appointment needed). To offer this service we do charge your insurance company $35.00 in addition to your regular visit.

When calling our office (614) 851-7337(PEDS) please utilize our voice mail by leaving a message for non-emergencies and to schedule appointments. Our staff will return your call within 24 hours. For same day appointments and true emergency calls we encourage you to hold on the line for operator assistance. In case of an extreme emergency or life threatening situation go to the emergency room or call 911.
